Building the backbone of global employment compliance. At Rippling, the Compliance and Work Authorization (CWA) team powers one of the most complex and high-impact parts of the global HR stack — ensuring every employee, in every country, is legally and compliantly employed. We build systems that automate and enforce compliance for millions of users and thousands of companies, across hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and more.
1. Compliance 360: A unified platform for defining, validating, and enforcing jurisdiction-specific rules across countries and roles.
2. Work Authorization: Scalable global work authorization, specifically US based I-9 & E-Verify systems for automated verification and smarter document management.
3. Policy Seeding & Compliance Architecture: A real-time policy framework powering 2.13K+ active compliance rules and 1.68B daily evaluations.
4. Employment verification: Automates employment verification requests and securely integrates with third-party verification systems.
5. Compliance reporting: Reporting engine to empower EEOC and CPDR reporting for the customers to be compliant.
And many more, we’re not just keeping companies and employees compliant; we’re driving significant business revenue by solving critical customer problems in employment verification and e-verify automation.
This isn’t routine CRUD work — it’s high-scale, real-time orchestration of compliance data across multiple geographies, products, and workflows. You will work on distributed validation systems, data ingestion pipelines, AI-powered OCR for document verification, and integrations with official country government systems.
