This role involves leading a software engineering team, focusing on building, maintaining, operating, and supporting applications. The Software Engineer IV will provide technical guidance and mentorship, handle complex development tasks, and ensure high-quality delivery. Key responsibilities include developing software using technologies like Java, JavaScript, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, conducting code reviews, and ensuring business requirements are met.
Must have:
- Lead a software engineering team.
- Build, maintain, operate, and support applications.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship.
- Take on complex software development tasks.
- Build software using industry technologies like Java, JavaScript, JSON/XML, Junit, AWS, Docker, Snowflake, and Kubernetes.
- Answer technical questions for the team.
- Complete code reviews in GitHub.
- Ensure development work satisfies business requirements.
- Seven years of experience in application development.
- Seven years experience building and delivering applications on AWS.
- Seven years experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Seven years experience using Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
- Seven years experience designing Open API contract-first RESTful services.
- Seven years experience creating relational scalable storage using Postgres with query optimizations.
- Seven years experience using full-stack test automation technologies Junit and Pytest.

Job Details
Responsible for leading a software engineering team in building, maintaining, operating, and supporting its applications. Provide hands-on technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to the engineering team with responsibility for high quality delivery. Take on complex software development tasks to build software using industry technologies, such as Java, JavaScript, JSON/XML, Junit, Amazon Web Services, Docker, Snowflake, and Kubernetes. Answer technical questions for the team and complete code reviews in GitHub. Ensure that the development work of the team is completed to satisfy the business requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field and seven (7) years of experience in application development. Experience must include seven years in each of the following:
- Building and delivering applications and systems on top of AWS;
- Working with application frameworks using Java and Spring Boot;
- Using Object-Relational Mapping frameworks;
- Designing Open API contract-first RESTful services versioned and deprecated at scale;
- Creating relational scalable storage using Postgres with query optimizations; and
- Using full-stack test automation technologies Junit and Pytest.
- Eligible for up to 100% remote work within the continental United States.
