Job Summary
As a Software Engineer for ByteDance's Multi-Cloud CDN, you'll design, develop, and optimize the Multi-Cloud CDN platform. This includes developing systems for configuration management, data analysis, content management, and scheduling. You'll support the development of the Multi-Cloud CDN scheduling system (DNS, SDK, 302, and HTTPDNS scheduling), and build an intelligent scheduling system to optimize global traffic management. You'll focus on improving platform performance and reliability, ensuring efficient business access and flexible scheduling strategies for TikTok's global traffic.
Must Have
- Design and develop Multi-Cloud CDN architecture
- Develop and optimize CDN systems
- Support CDN scheduling system development
- Build intelligent scheduling system
- Improve CDN platform performance and reliability
- Proficiency in C/C++, Go, Python, Java, or PHP
- Understanding of network protocols, storage, message queues

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137750 - $237500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
