Software Quality Assurance Associate (Internship)

Intern Functions:

We apply a hybrid approach, i.e., in-person work and telework, to combine convenience and productivity.

As a Software Quality Assurance Associate, you will work to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products and applications. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the software development lifecycle, develop your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and your understanding of software quality assurance in a real-world environment. You will work alongside experienced QA professionals by contributing to the testing process and learning industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Execute predefined test cases and document the results.
• Report and track basic software bugs under supervision.
• Learn and use various testing tools and technologies.
• Perform initial verification of bug fixes.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Develop a basic understanding of the software being tested.
• Liaise with developers for bug resolution.
• Learn and follow QA best practices and methodologies.

Specific Requirements:

• Attention to detail: Ability to notice and document anomalies.
• Basic test case execution: Ability to learn how to execute and document test cases.
• Communication: Bilingualism (French and English), as you will be required to collaborate with teams outside Quebec/Canada. Clear written and verbal communications to report bugs and test results.
• Time management: Ability to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
• Basic documentation: Ability to properly document test results and bugs.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team and with other external stakeholders.
