Role Overview
The Solution Analyst will serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Riyadh Bank’s digital and financial solutions are effectively analyzed, designed, and implemented. The role requires a strong understanding of banking processes, digital channels, and customer-centric technologies to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units, product owners, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for banking solutions.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Work closely with digital banking, mobile, and web teams to design and deliver seamless customer experiences across channels.
- Evaluate existing systems, identify integration gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance process efficiency and system performance.
- Collaborate with solution architects to ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, data, and security standards.
- Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
- Support the testing lifecycle(SIT, UAT).
- Participate in vendor evaluations, solution demos, and RFP processes when required.
- Ensure compliance with SAMA, NCA, and internal IT governance frameworks.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience as a Solution Analyst in the banking or financial services domain.
- Proven experience in digital banking platforms.
- Hands-on collaboration experience with mobile and web development teams to deliver customer-facing applications.
- Strong database knowledge (SQL, Oracle, or equivalent) for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of API integrations, data flow mapping, and system architecture design.
- Exposure to core banking systems (Temenos, Finacle, Oracle etc.) – good to have.
- Familiarity with banking operations, payment gateways, and financial products (deposits, loans, credit cards, etc.).
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as SAMA, Basel III, and AML.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Certifications
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.
