Job Description

Neolytix is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant for a full-time remote position. This role involves preparing and managing medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare policies like HIPAA and Joint Commission, and updating patient information. The assistant will also monitor lab results and perform clerical tasks to enhance provider productivity. Candidates must have a dedicated home office setup, including a powerful computer, high-speed internet, and a noise-cancelling headset. Prior US healthcare experience is required for this mid-level role.
Must Have:
  • Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physicians.
  • Ensure medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation.
  • Update patient history, physical exam, and pertinent health information.
  • Prepare and send documentation for physician review and approval.
  • Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures.
  • Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission.
  • Perform clerical duties to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow.
  • Possess a laptop/desktop with at least i5 processor and 8GB RAM.
  • Have an internet speed of 35mbps and above.
  • Use a noise-cancelling headset/webcam.
  • Have a dedicated place at home for work.
  • Be bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Have previous US Healthcare Experience (in BPO or as a Virtual Assistant).
