Job Description

NICE Actimize is seeking a Solution Architect to lead solution design, interface with clients, and shape the architecture of financial crime platforms in Pune, supporting North America. This high-impact role involves establishing technical credibility, leading architecture across projects, extending proprietary software, and collaborating with product management to define new features. The ideal candidate is passionate about complex problem-solving and influencing technology strategy in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
Good To Have:
  • Actimize customization/implementation (AML/FMC/Fraud product suite).
  • Understanding of cSaaS and on-prem methodologies.
  • Hardware sizing and system interface design (web services, message queues).
  • Experience with high-volume scaling and system performance tuning.
  • Background in financial services (banking, brokerage, insurance).
Must Have:
  • Lead architecture and design across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Extend proprietary software to solve complex business challenges.
  • Present and implement solutions in post-sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with product management to define new features.
  • Create architecture documents, best practices, and reusable tools.
  • Guide project teams from planning through production deployment.
  • Support presales efforts including solution design and RFI/RFP responses.
  • Work closely with customer IT and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • 10+ years in the software industry, with current role as Solution Architect.
  • Strong background in software integration and technical writing.
  • Deep understanding of web architecture (web servers & application servers).
  • Expertise in databases: Oracle, MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in Core Java, AWS, SOAP, and web services.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies: containerization, Kafka, Git, Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of SSL, SSO, Kerberos, and authentication protocols.
  • Experience designing high-availability systems.
  • Strong customer-facing skills in consulting or professional services.
  • BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field.

  • Proficiency in Core Java, AWS, SOAP, and web services
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies: containerization, Kafka, Git, Jenkins
  • Knowledge of SSL, SSO, Kerberos, and authentication protocols
  • Experience designing high-availability systems
  • Strong customer-facing skills in consulting or professional services
  • Quick learner with adaptability to evolving tech landscapes
  • Consultative problem-solving approach
  • BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree a plus)
