Job Description

The Specialist Solutions Developer will be part of an energetic and innovative team. Responsibilities include implementing software solutions, developing customer-specific solutions using industry-standard methodologies, testing, deploying and supporting complex applications. They will also use consultancy skills to capture client requirements, participate in solutions design, architecture and design discussions, and reviews. The role also involves building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading multiple development projects, and collaborating with various teams to design the best customer solution. The developer will proactively learn new technologies and products.
Must have:
  • Application development with Java and Spring framework
  • API based development with Spring Boot, SOAP and REST Web Services
  • Experience working in a team using collaboration tools like Git, Jira
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs
  • Experience working in a Global delivery environment
  • Develop requirements documents, specification documents, and technical architecture diagrams
  • Experience with Application design, development, delivery, and support on Microsoft Windows platform
  • Good verbal and written communication in English language
Good to have:
  • Cloud certification in either AWS, GCP or Azure (AWS Cloud practitioner)
  • Python programmer certification (PCEP – equivalent)
  • Agile certification (Certified Scrum Developer being the bare minimum requirement)
  • Python, C #, C ++, .NET, VBA, SQL, Batch Script, JavaScript
  • Object oriented programming (OOP) and open-source frameworks to build MVC web applications and .NET services
  • Exposure to Web Application Framework - AngularJS, Angular, ReactJS, HTM
  • Software Development/Code management tools and Design tools – SCode, Visual Studio, UML Universal Model Language, Junit
  • Development tooling to track and automate software delivery through the SDLC: e.g., Jira, Confluence
  • Integrations using APIs for Windows, Linux, and Database.

Specialist Solutions Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Implements creative software solutions
  • Develop customer specific solutions using industry standard methodologies.
  • Develop, test, deploy and support complex applications
  • Use your consultancy skills to capture client requirements and participate in the solutions design.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions and reviews.  
  • Bring new insights for the continuous improvement in the workflow of the development team.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead multiple development projects simultaneously from design through to production
  • Partner with Sales & Account Management, Technology, and Product teams to design the best solution for the customer.
  • Proactively learn new technologies, products, and development APIs
  • Collaborate with team members

    EXPERIENCE

    • Application development with Java and Spring framework
    • API based development with Spring Boot, SOAP and REST Web Services
    • Proven working experience in a team using collaboration tools like Git, Jira, etc
    • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs
    • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
    • Ability to develop requirements documents (BRD), specification documents (FSD), technical architecture diagrams, configuration documents, operating procedures, workflow diagrams, etc.
    • Experience with Application design, development, delivery, and support on Microsoft Windows platform - Windows, IIS, SQL Server, ASP.Net Core
    • Good verbal and written communication in English language (Medium to Advanced Level).

    EDUCATION

    • Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

    DESIRED SKILLS:
