Job Description

We are searching to find tracking systems operators to join our expanding Operations team. Based out of our regional office in Mexico City, this is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology in top-flight sports leagues as part of a passionate and dynamic team. Whilst we provide a number of services across all of our leagues (MLB/NBA/NFL/NHL), your primary focus will be live operational delivery and ad-hoc setups/documentation of our tracking technology for regular season games during the NBA/G-League/NHL/NFL seasons. You will be provided comprehensive technical training, and once training is complete, you will be assigned operational shifts based in our SONY Mexico City Office, operating remote support to our clients around the US. You will be working with our team in the US, who operate out of our Atlanta, GA office. Due to the nature of live sporting operations, In-season, you will need to be prepared to work nights and weekends. Example Shift Times - 8-hour shifts would typically fall between the hours of 10 am and 3 am, depending on the sport, with the most common shift being 3:00 pm to 12:00 am.
Good To Have:
  • Experience using the Windows ecosystem and knowledge of networking principles
  • A keen interest in sports
  • A background in Data Analytics/Sports Analytics
  • With/studying towards a degree with a technical focus, such as a science, technology, graphics, mathematics or engineering course, or relevant equivalent experience
Must Have:
  • Conducting pre-game checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures and solving problems in a timely manner when issues arise.
  • Operating the technologies during the game remotely from the SONY Mexico City Office.
  • Liaising with other operators and supervisors in our US office in Atlanta, GA.
  • Liaising with professional team personnel, both on-site and remotely.
  • Providing real-time, quality data to all of our clients.
  • Taking full responsibility for our data integrity for the games assigned to you.
  • Proactively flagging and escalating issues that can prevent us from delivering live and/or quality data to our clients.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • A good technical grounding
  • Ability to liaise/communicate with clients (via written English) in a professional and approachable manner
  • Logical problem-solving ability
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to remain focused in a high-pressure, live sports environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to a schedule that is dictated by the game schedule and can change at short notice (including weekends and holidays)
  • MUST speak English and be comfortable working with English-speaking colleagues

Preferred:
