Sr. Analyst, Business Systems

A Day in the Life:

We are seeking a motivated Senior Analyst, Business Systems to join our Business Transformation team. This hands-on role requires both technical and functional expertise, with a strong grasp of general accounting principles and their application within NetSuite ERP and other financial applications. This role will be responsible for performing administration and maintenance activities in support of key systems, and collaborating closely with our finance team to develop solutions for various business challenges.

The Impact You’ll Make:

Execute the day-to-day tasks supporting sustainment, administration, maintenance and enhancement of our ERP (Netsuite) and other finance-related systems & tools (Floqast, Tipalti, Expensify, Shareworks, etc.), including:

• Developing and maintaining customizations for applications that support Finance and Accounting operations, including integrations of key systems
• Developing and implementing SuiteScripts and ensuring system compliance with accounting standards
• Creating and maintaining adequate platform documentation covering system functionality, customizations, integrations, SDLC processes, and runbooks; staying current with software capabilities, best practices, and upcoming releases
• Executing certain IT general controls in connection with SOX requirements
• Managing data migration projects and ensuring data consistency and accuracy
• Managing projects in JIRA and Asana by creating and tracking tickets
• Coordinating projects with the Finance team and development resources
• Conducting regular meetings with stakeholders to understand business problems and gather requirements to develop solutions for business needs
• Ensuring compliance with quality and security processes and procedures and operationalize needed controls and policies.
• Providing finance system training, and assisting users with requests and problems (tier 1 / 2 support)

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years as a hands-on BSA or similar experience
• 2+ years of experience with NetSuite's core processes, modules, customization, and reporting functionalities
• Excellent communication skills and effective time/project management abilities
• Automation mindset using leading-edge technologies with integration experience
• Experience solving problems programmatically (i.e., SuiteScript, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles and practical experience applying them
• Experience working with multi-subsidiary multinational organizations operating on NetSuite
• Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities, including ad-hoc requests
