Sr. Assurance Supply Manager


As a Senior Assurance Supply Manaager you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 buyer planners to support a €1.7B revenue business assuring a seamless global supply chain for 20,000 Ultrasound system customer shipments every year.

Your role:

  • Lead efforts to Identify, evaluate, and mitigate mid-to-long-term supply risks in collaboration with R&D Planning & Procurement functions
  • Collaborate with internal global stakeholders to develop plans to deliver on time (NPI, production, and service) supplier part changes
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements
  • Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, options planning, and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs
  • Manage supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships. (requires up to 20% travel)



You're the right fit if:

  • You posses a minimum +5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum +3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as purchasing, supply chain management or equivalent.
  • You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.Preferred to have a Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent certification
  • Your skills include In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices, preferably in highly regulated industry as awell as material requirement plannin systems such as SAP.
  • You are a proffesional with the ability to lead and mentor a team of planning and buying professionals, utilizing strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation techniques who is open to travel 20% of the time in role.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.



How we work together


We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $122,640.00 to $196,224.00

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. 

Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
