Responsible for implementing features and functionality into an application or website, as well as maintaining its performance over time
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to maintain high code quality standards.
- Be capable of independently owning individual projects while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise, resolving them promptly.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of backend systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure fast and efficient system operation.
- Develop automated tests to meet client requirements and enable regression testing.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, including database schema design and queries.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments relevant to backend development.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for backend systems and APIs.
Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Back End Engineer, with some professional experience
- Knowledge of GIT or any other version control software
- Knowledge of responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility
- Extensive knowledge of fonts, embedding from third parties like Google, Typekit & Font Deck, etc
- Solid understanding of web development, performance and accessibility standards, coding principles, tools, and best practices
