Job Summary

The Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated DevOps engineer to join their DevOps practice. The role involves collaborating with engineers and architects across the organization to develop and improve the infrastructure supporting numerous services. This impactful position offers an opportunity to work with many technologies, address complex challenges and influence the technical direction of Quickbase’s platform infrastructure. The responsibilities include working with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Groovy, containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Templates, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI and serverless computing like Google App Engine or AWS Lambda.

Must Have

  • Scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy
  • Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes
  • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Templates
  • Experience with a CI/CD tool like Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI

The Engineering group is looking for a highly motivated DevOps engineer to join our DevOps practice. In this role, you will collaborate with the engineers and architects across the organization to develop and enhance the infrastructure powering our dozens of services. This highly impactful position offers an opportunity to work with many technologies, tackle complex challenges and influence the technical direction of Quickbase’s platform infrastructure.

 

·         Scripting languages - e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy

 

·         Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes

 

·         Infrastructure as Code - one of Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Templates

 

·         Experience with a CI/CD tool - e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, CircleCI

 

·         Serverless computing - such as Google App Engine or AWS Lambda
