Aeries Technology is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Mobile Engineering team at Two Circles, based in Hyderabad. This role involves shaping the direction of mobile platforms for leading sports and entertainment organizations, building greenfield mobile apps, and driving fan engagement. The manager will lead a team of mobile engineers, collaborate with product and delivery leads, set technical standards, mentor team members, and contribute to strategic decision-making, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable mobile experiences.

Engineering Manager – Native Apps

As part of our exciting growth journey, we’re expanding our Mobile Engineering team and are on the lookout for a talented Engineering Manager to join us. You will join the team based in our new office located in HITEC City, the heart of India's thriving technology hub. Working in the office the majority of the week, with some flexibility to work from home when required, you'll experience the collaborative energy of engaging directly with talented colleagues, driving innovation, accelerating problem-solving, and enhancing your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll lead a team of mobile engineers and collaborate closely with other engineering managers to shape the direction of our mobile platforms across multiple client products.
  • Partner with delivery leads and product managers to ensure mobile initiatives are delivered to high standards of quality and impact.
  • Work closely with product managers to define mobile product vision and ensure alignment with overall business goals and user needs.
  • You’ll set technical standards for mobile development, including architecture, testing, CI/CD, and release processes, ensuring scalability and maintainability across all apps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, QA, and backend engineering, to build cohesive and scalable mobile experiences.
  • Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • You’ll lead recruitment and onboarding of new team members, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where engineers can thrive and grow.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in mobile development to incorporate new tools and approaches into our workflow.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making regarding mobile technologies and tools to enhance product capabilities.
