Job Overview:
The AGM IT Security at Aeries Technology will lead and oversee the enterprise-wide information security strategy, governance, and risk management programs. This senior leadership position is responsible for establishing a robust security framework that protects Aeries Technology and its clients’ data and assets from evolving cyber threats. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, client engagement, compliance management, and the delivery of advanced security solutions aligned with business objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Aeries Technology’s information security strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.
- Lead enterprise security governance, risk management, compliance, and incident response programs across global client environments, including US and UK markets.
- Serve as the primary security advisor to senior leadership and clients, communicating risk posture, mitigation strategies, and security investment priorities.
- Manage and mentor the IT security and SOC leadership teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous skills development.
- Oversee implementation and optimization of security technologies such as Microsoft Azure Sentinel SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and cloud security tools.
- Drive development, enforcement, and continuous improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures compliant with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOC.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure secure IT architecture and effective delivery of security services.
- Establish, track, and report key security metrics to demonstrate progress in reducing risk and improving security posture.
- Stay abreast of cybersecurity trends, regulatory changes, and emerging threats; proactively adapt security programs accordingly.
Required Knowledge and Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, regulatory compliance requirements, and security architecture principles (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC).
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise security operations, risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft security stack (Azure Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview DLP) and broader cybersecurity technologies.
- Experience in managing complex client security engagements in diverse regulatory environments, especially US and UK.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are mandatory.
- A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in IT security management, with demonstrated leadership in client-facing roles and strategic security initiatives.
- Proven experience leading security programs aligned with global compliance standards and industry best practices.
