Principal Consultant

Aeries Technology is seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant with 10+ years of IT consulting and finance transformation experience. The role involves leading and executing large-scale SAP projects, including implementations, rollouts, migrations, and support, with a strong focus on global finance process improvements. Key responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of SAP Finance (FICO) projects, solution design, template enhancement, and working with global clients to deliver tailored SAP solutions.

Must Have

• Own end-to-end delivery of SAP Finance (FICO) projects including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, hyper care, and stakeholder management.
• Responsible for solution designing, template enhancement and rollout of FI solution.
• Work with global clients and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and deliver tailored SAP solutions across FICO modules.
• Act as SME for complex SAP environments involving integrations with SD, MM etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO modules.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• 10+ years in SAP FICO with strong consulting background.
• Proven experience across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Banking, and Tax Accounting processes.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, FICO sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Tax, Cost Center Accounting, Project Systems), FI-MM, FI-SD integrations, RICEFW development oversight, Month-end closing activities and cost accounting.
• Demonstrated success in multi-country SAP rollouts.
• Strong leadership in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team mentoring.
• Working knowledge on vendor invoice management.

Good to Have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance
• SAP certification in Finance & Controlling areas
