Job Summary

Aeries Technology is seeking a Director for Client Engagement and Digital Transformation to lead strategic client relationships and drive end-to-end transformation initiatives. This role involves advising C-level stakeholders, managing account growth, overseeing high-performing teams, and ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. The Director will also provide site leadership in Hyderabad, fostering a strong workplace culture and coordinating with corporate leadership to implement scalable operating models focused on automation and digitization.

Must Have

  • Act as a strategic advisor to C-level stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end client relationships.
  • Lead high-performing transformation teams.
  • Oversee transformation roadmaps, reporting, and governance.
  • Monitor KPIs/SLAs and resolve escalations.
  • Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives (automation, digitization).
  • Partner with clients on governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Provide local leadership and senior representation for the site.
  • 15+ years of experience in account management, client partnership & transformation.
  • Strong understanding of technology platforms and digital transformation.
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts and client relationships.
  • Skilled at managing expectations and handling escalations.
  • Strong grasp of project management methodologies.

Good to Have

  • Preferred industry experience: Technology / IT / ITES / Digital & e-commerce / SaaS / Tech consulting.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder & Account Management

  • Act as a strategic advisor to C-level stakeholders on compliance, operational efficiency, and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end client relationships, ensuring alignment of service delivery with client expectations across functions.
  • Lead high-performing transformation teams and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, HR, TA and executive leadership.
  • Oversee key deliverables including transformation roadmaps, reporting and governance.
  • Monitor KPIs/SLAs, resolve escalations, and drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
  • Support account growth through proactive engagement and trusted advisory support.

Transformation & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives for client organizations, focusing on automation, and digitization across operations.
  • Collaborate with global teams to drive change management and implement scalable, future-ready operating models.
  • Deliver strategic insights and solutions on the internal controls as part of broader transformation programs.

Internal Controls & Governance

  • Partner with clients to assess and align their governance and compliance frameworks, ensuring transparency and operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance stakeholders to support audit-readiness, data integrity, and regulatory compliance as needed.

Site Leadership

  • Provide local leadership and act as a senior representative for the Hyderabad/client site.
  • Managing leadership visits, strategic reviews, and governance meetings as needed.
  • Serve as a point of escalation and guidance for cross-functional teams on-site.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between corporate leadership and Hyderabad operations.
  • Foster a strong and cohesive workplace culture aligned with Aeries’ values and operational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience across account management, client partnership & transformation.
  • Preferred industry experience: Technology / IT / ITES / Digital & e-commerce / SaaS / Tech consulting.
  • Strong understanding of technology platforms, enterprise systems, and digital transformation concepts.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing key accounts, client relationships, and growing accounts
  • Experience overseeing multi-disciplinary delivery teams or programs on behalf of clients
  • Skilled at managing expectations, handling escalations, and navigating complex client environments
  • Strong grasp of project management methodologies
  • Collaborative working style with both clients and internal teams
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, or ambiguous environments
  • Preference will be given to candidates based in the Hyderabad location.
