This job is responsible for defining, positioning and delivering the core message of all Commodity business lines and services to achieve defined volume and revenue goals. The Senior Director, Product Marketing focuses on business goals and global growth strategies, directing how products are positioned and marketed across all customer segments. Must Have

  • Directs and influences cross-functional teams to develop and execute Commodity product marketing strategy and objectives.
  • Partners with regional marketing teams to help shape regional specific product marketing initiatives.
  • Identify product-specific market research opportunities, and utilize the research.
  • Manage positioning and sponsorships of industry tradeshows and events.
  • Manage product marketing budgets for Commodities and accountable for measurement of all product marketing activity.
  • Responsible for identifying targeted marketing opportunities and serving as subject matter expert for targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborates with Customer Marketing team on joint prioritization, targeted marketing, and customer communication.
  • Work with the Execution team for creative deliverables.
  • Responsible for Market Insights content and partners for Commodity Marketing.
  • Set Commodity Product positioning and overall messaging, including management of global product awareness campaigns.

Job Description

This job is responsible for defining, positioning and delivering the core message of all Commodity business lines and services in order to achieve defined volume and revenue goals. The Senior Director, Product Marketing is focused and connected to the business goals and global growth strategies, and understands and directs how the business line suite, as well as individual products, are positioned and marketed across all customer segments.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Directs and influences cross-functional teams to develop and execute the Commodity product marketing prioritized strategy and objectives, including product launch and awareness marketing plans.
  • Partners with regional marketing teams to help shape regional specific product marketing initiatives.
  • Identify product-specific market research opportunities, and utilize the research.
  • Manage positioning and sponsorships of industry tradeshows and events.
  • Manage product marketing budgets for Commodities and accountable for measurement of all product marketing activity.
  • Responsible for identifying targeted marketing opportunities and serving as subject matter expert for targeted marketing campaigns.

The pay ranges for this role based on location are: Chicago: $148,800-$248,000 New York/New Jersey: $163,700-$272,800. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant).
