Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. This role is for a Full-Stack Software Development Engineer in Boise, Idaho, focusing on configuring, developing, maintaining, and supporting Micron and third-party applications, specifically for the Photolithography area in manufacturing. The engineer will build and analyze software specifications, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with internal customers and IT teams globally to deploy scalable solutions and resolve system issues. The role emphasizes building quality software and leveraging Generative AI tools.

Must Have

  • Developing restful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#, and Object Oriented Programming preferably .NET.
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other Web technologies.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container technologies.
  • Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Code Generation Utilities.

In Boise, Idaho has several openings for Full-Stack Software Development Engineers. As a Software Development Engineer you will configure, develop, maintain and support and third-party applications. You will build and analyze software specifications, and research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle. You can demonstrate the functional and technical skills vital to switch between development technologies and merge them to deliver the best solution. You have a consistent track record to build quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts. You will provide solutions that build business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact through defects, downtime, or performance degradation.

You will be working with a team of full-stack software engineers who are responsible for developing software that helps run and optimize the Manufacturing line. This team has a specific focus on enabling the Photolithography area within the Manufacturing environment. The team applies a wide variety of technologies and interacts with team members from around the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal customers and IT teams to drive impactful change.
  • Collaborate with a group of dedicated software engineers to invent, develop, and deploy solutions in a scalable manner for a global enterprise.
  • You will analyze and solve system issues to identify and implement solutions to problems identified.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams for end-to-end testing, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion.

  • Leverage Generative AI tools to drive innovation and faster development cycles.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience.
  • Developing restful web services using NodeJS, Apache or C#, and Object Oriented Programming preferably .NET
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other Web technologies
  • Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container technologies
  • GitHub Copilot or other Code Generation Utilities (ex. Claude Code, Cursor, Tabnine etc.)
