About the role and team:

The eBay Seller Capital team delivers innovative financing solutions that empower small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to unlock their potential. We strive to provide eBay sellers with a seamless and trusted financing experience through partnerships with leading lending providers.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for Seller Capital, with a focus on expanding our offerings and geographic reach. In this role, you will drive initiatives end-to-end, from customer discovery to launch, working cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, design, marketing, research, communications, risk, legal, finance, and other partner teams.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with operational excellence, demonstrating a proven ability to craft product strategies and execute them with precision. Experience in collaborating with third party partners, small business financing, and e-commerce are preferred. As this role involves collaboration with global and central teams, flexibility to have overlapping working hours with the Pacific Time Zone is required.

What you will accomplish:

  • Own and drive the product and CX strategy, develop requirements and drive roadmap execution for Seller Capital financing partner products.
  • Discover and address customer pain points across the customer journey via qualitative and quantitative data-driven approaches to validate and understand the customer problem.
  • Constantly challenge the status quo, leveraging industry trends, market dynamics, and voice of the customer to improve product portfolio (incl. expansion to new financial products such as insurance) and CX journey.
  • Collaborate with the eBay Product Marketing and Communications teams to craft and execute tailored marketing and communication strategies that align with the broader vision of the eBay Seller Capital portfolio.
  • Exhibit strong bias for action and hold a high bar for quality, continuously optimizing execution and processes.
  • Collaborate with risk, legal, and finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance, anticipate risks, set mitigation strategies, and proactively unblock the roadmap.

What you will bring:

  • 4-6 years of demonstrable product management experience, preferably within financial services, fintech, insurance or lending industries.
  • Consistent track record of developing, launching, and scaling new products and CX experiences by leading cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-first mindset, with passion for building financial products that empower small businesses to succeed.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform product decisions and drive outcomes.
  • Understanding of regulatory and risk management considerations within the lending space.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive long-term product vision while managing day-to-day execution with speed and operational excellence.
