Job Summary
Sabre is seeking a Sr System Integration Consultant to join their Delivery organization. This role involves ensuring successful integration of Sabre solutions within client architectures, translating business requirements into technical designs, and acting as the client's advocate. The consultant will provide guidance on solution design for complex projects, collaborate with customers on-site or remotely, and support implementation processes, leveraging expertise in travel technology and APIs to solve complex challenges in the global travel industry.
Must Have
- Proven experience in the travel industry with end-to-end workflow knowledge.
- Solid understanding of travel distribution models and GDS systems.
- Strong API knowledge, preferably within GDS or travel-tech ecosystems.
- Proven experience in solution architecture design.
- Background in software development or technical delivery roles.
- Solid understanding of Cloud, Web, SOAP, REST, and API-based solutions.
- Functional and technical expertise in customer-facing roles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Excellent presentation and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical area.
- 5–7 years of related experience.

Team Description
Sales & System Integration Engineering is a team within the Delivery organization. We are the first technical individuals who interact with prospects and new accounts to start tailoring the best Sabre solution including products and APIs. Our team is responsible for define scoping, consulting and create a list of relevant recommendations that will be implemented by different teams once a customer is signed with Sabre. We are also important resource during implementation and our knowledge is used during this critical process of getting the first booking created.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful integration of Sabre solutions within the client’s technical architecture.
- Translate business requirements into detailed systems, applications, and process designs.
- Serve as the client’s advocate and act as the ultimate authority on the defined architecture to address operational and business challenges.
- Provide guidance and direction for solution and design activities within large and complex projects.
- Collaborate directly with customers on-site or remotely to support implementation and ensure alignment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Travel Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the travel industry with end-to-end workflow knowledge, including operational processes and the functioning of Travel Agencies, TMCs, and corporate travel environments. Solid understanding of travel distribution models, GDS systems (at least one required), and technology trends, including NDC and lodging/hotel solutions from the agency perspective.
- Technical Expertise: Strong API knowledge, preferably within GDS or travel-tech ecosystems, and proven experience in solution architecture design. Background in software development or technical delivery roles (e.g., Software Engineer, Project Manager, Scrum Master), with solid understanding of Cloud, Web, SOAP, REST, and API-based solutions. Capable of developing proof-of-concept solutions and leading technical workshops on Sabre products, APIs, and integration approaches.
- Consulting & Communication Skills: Functional and technical expertise in customer-facing roles, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions. Excellent presentation and documentation skills, including the creation of professional decks and customer-facing materials. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical, operational, and commercial audiences.
- Organizational & Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated time management, prioritization, and organizational capabilities, with resilience under pressure and ability to manage complexity. Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
- Languages: Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical area (4-year degree/postgraduate preferred).
- 5–7 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with equivalent practical experience.
