Likewize is searching for a staff level Internal Auditor to join their Corporate Audit Services (CAS) team at their global headquarters in Southlake, TX. This role supports the Internal Audit function by performing financial, operational, and compliance audits. Responsibilities include evaluating internal controls, ensuring policy compliance, and providing insights to improve risk management and operational efficiency.
Must have:
  • Assist in planning and executing assigned audits in accordance with IIA Standards.
  • Perform walkthroughs, document processes, and test internal controls.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and highlight areas of risk or inefficiency.
  • Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations in workpapers.
  • Assist in preparing formal audit reports summarizing observations and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand processes and identify gaps.
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain professional independence and exercise sound judgment.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, US GAAP, and relevant regulations.
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with internal control frameworks (COSO)
  • Experience with audit management software or data analytics tools
  • Progress towards professional certification’s (CIA, CPA, CISA) or willingness to obtain

Likewize is searching for a staff level Internal Auditor to join our Corporate Audit Services (CAS) team at our global headquarters in Southlake, TX.

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Internal Audit function by performing financial, operational, and compliance audits across the business. This position is responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing insights to improve risk management and operational efficiency.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in planning and executing assigned audits in accordance with the approved annual audit plan and the Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) Standards.
  • Perform walkthroughs, document processes, and test internal controls for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and highlight areas of risk or inefficiency.
  • Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise workpapers.
  • Assist in preparing formal audit reports that summarize observations, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand processes, identify gaps, and develop practical solutions.
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective actions are implemented and remediated.
  • Maintain professional independence and exercise sound judgment throughout the audit process.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, US GAAP, internal auditing standards, and relevant regulations.

If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills, and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Accounting or related experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with internal control frameworks (COSO) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with audit management software or data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Progress towards professional certification’s (CIA, CPA, CISA) or willingness to obtain is preferred.
