Job Description
As a Staff Engineer, Big Data, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining big data solutions. You will work with large datasets to extract insights and develop data-driven solutions. You will also be responsible for collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet the needs of the business. By this point in your career, it is not just about the tech you know or how well you can code. It is about what more you want to do with that knowledge. Good To Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
Must Have:
- Strong understanding of big data technologies
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc.
- Ability to design and implement data pipelines
- Experience with data modeling and analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
