AnaVation is seeking a Staff IT Specialist to provide end-user support for a custom application used by over 3000 users. This role involves assisting users with application configuration, resets, data export, and general usage questions. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, patient, and provide quick responses. This on-site position in Quantico, VA, offers growth opportunities into cloud engineering and software development, and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

Must Have:

  • Ability to successfully pass a polygraph and obtain SCI accesses.

Description of Task to be Performed:

Provide end user support for a custom application that is used by 3000+ users. The Staff IT specialist will support users with application configuration, configuration resets, data export, application use and other end user questions. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and have experience working people to understand an application that requires a level of expertise to operate. Clear explanations, patience with user issues and quick responses are critical. Our team will train the candidate on all aspects of the user interactions.

There is a lot of opportunity to grow beyond the help desk into cloud engineering and software development.

This position is on-site with our customer in Quantico, VA.

This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and the ability to successfully pass a polygraph and obtain SCI accesses.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree and Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a help desk person or customer support team. Without a Degree, 4 years of direct experience
  • Experience with ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through support to customer issues and needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Mobile application support
  • Experience providing the “customers” voice to the testing process
