Filevine is seeking a Staff Product Manager to shape the future of their legal technology platforms. This role involves owning new product initiatives from conception to launch, focusing on customer satisfaction and business growth. The manager will develop product plans, champion user experience, collaborate with engineering, translate business needs into specifications, and drive data-driven decisions.   • Develop comprehensive product plans, specifications, and user stories.
  • Execute against the product roadmap collaboratively.
  • Own the product's UX and feature set development.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Translate complex customer and business needs into clear specifications, business rules, flows, and use cases.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Analyze data and customer feedback to identify problems, measure results, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Slice user stories into manageable chunks, define acceptance criteria, and work iteratively with engineers.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, collaborate with teams to optimize the backlog.
  • Help with product acceptance testing, working with QA, engineers, and customers.
  • Drive zero-to-one product launches and contribute to go-to-market.
  • Proactively educate everyone within the organization about your product area.
  • B.S. or M.S. in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field; comparable certifications; or equivalent direct work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product or project management in SaaS.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering software that relies on Artificial Intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of software development methodologies and working within a software development life cycle.
  • Ability to bring creative problem-solving and an innovative mindset to challenges.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible to changing priorities and consider new ideas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker.
  • Experienced with Agile/lean delivery frameworks.
  • A passion for driving efficiency and quality metrics.
  • Must be located in Europe (Czechia or Slovakia) with the legal right to work.

As a Staff Product Manager at Filevine, you'll be a critical force in shaping the future of our legal technology platforms. You'll take ownership of new product initiatives, from conception to market launch, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering the product vision: Develop comprehensive product plans, specifications, and user stories that bring high-quality features and enhancements to life.
  • Roadmap Execution: Work collaboratively with product leadership and teams to continually execute against the product roadmap.
  • Championing the user experience: Own the product's UX and feature set development, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for every user.
  • Building strong partnerships: Collaborate closely with engineering teams to craft usable user experiences and deliver effective solutions. You'll be the voice of the customer in the development process, ensuring features are built to solve real-world problems.
  • Bridging the gap: Translate complex customer and business needs into clear, actionable specifications, business rules, flows, and use cases.
  • Customer Adoption: Actively hop on customer calls to understand their needs and pain points firsthand to inform product decisions and improve their experience.
  • Data-driven decision-making: Analyze data and customer feedback to identify problems, measure results, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Agile work style: Slice user stories into manageable chunks, define acceptance criteria, and work iteratively with engineers.
  • Prioritization master: Anticipate bottlenecks, collaborate with teams to optimize the backlog, and ensure projects align with business needs and long-term goals.
  • Quality assurance champion: Help with product acceptance testing, working with QA, engineers, and customers.
  • Launch leader: Drive zero-to-one product launches and contribute to go-to-market. Partner with the GTM team to build value propositions, marketing videos, email copy, and one-pagers that capture the essence of your product and resonate with target audiences.
  • Evangelizing your product: Proactively educate everyone within the organization about your product area, creating excitement, and buy-in. Ensure everyone is equipped to advocate for your creations.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field; comparable certifications; or equivalent direct work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software product or project management in SaaS, or a similar amount of experience in highly relevant positions, preferably Legal, Legal Tech, or Artificial Intelligence.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering software that relies on Artificial Intelligence
  • Strong knowledge and experience of software development methodologies and working within a software development life cycle.
  • Ability to bring creative problem-solving and an innovative mindset to challenges.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible to changing priorities and consider new ideas while having the business's success firmly in your focus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker.
  • Experienced with Agile/lean delivery frameworks.
  • A passion for driving efficiency and quality metrics.

  • Must be located in Europe to align with our European-based development team
