Job Description

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will support daily operations by analyzing orders in SAP based on the commercial and technical catalogs. You will analyze discrepancies, determine order processing for Philips customers, and contribute to their satisfaction and brand preference. Your responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the Factory and internal customers, confirming delivery dates, analyzing system configurations, and validating sales orders. You will be part of the Global Business Service department, encouraging improvements and impacting success.
Must Have:
  • Currently enrolled in Business Administration, International Commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Passionate and proactive with a strong desire to learn independently.
  • Possess good analytical and communication skills.
  • Eager to take initiative and understand customer needs.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient level of English, written and oral communication.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support daily operation analyzing orders in SAP, based on the commercial catalog with data from the technical catalog. Analyze discrepancies between order and catalog, determine with which requests can be processed for Philips customers. Therefore, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience, satisfaction, and brand preference for Philips.

You are responsible for

  • Act as a liaison between the Factory and internal Philips customers within assigned regions and Market Order Managers.
  • Confirm delivery dates of orders to internal customers in alignment with supply planning.
  • Analyze system configurations, trigger changes and process upgrade orders working with international Key Markets on order related issues.
  • Accept and validate sales order by validating relevant information.
  • First point of contact for the logistics organization for assigned scope for order fulfillment subjects.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Student enrolled in a local University studying Business Administration; International Commerce; Logistics or Supply Chain;
  • Passionate and proactive person, eager to learn, autonomous, independent;
  • Good analytical and communicational skills;
  • Eager to take initiative and ownership of your projects and focused on understanding customer needs;
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient level of English, written and oral communication.
  • Ability to work independently and optimally with cross-functional and virtual teams.
