Job Description

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Project Manager Intern for Summer 2026 to join the Program Management team. This role involves contributing to the development of portable and mobile two-way communication products. Key responsibilities include facilitating software preparation for early product testing, managing dependencies and deliverables for support teams, supporting material readiness for prototyping, tracking and reporting on program test plans, and developing/refining processes to improve organizational efficiency. The intern will work within the Software Project Management group, which supports product release through the design and manufacturing process.

  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute a strategy aimed at achieving an end goal through collaboration.
  • Ability to manage seemingly conflicting requirements, and objectively analyze different inputs to break down complex problems and drive measurable, impactful solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and analyze, explain, and draw conclusions based on complex data.
  • Ability to influence technical experts and effectively align them to deliver results.
Must Have:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or an allied Engineering field.
  • Must graduate on or after December 2026.
  • Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
