Job Summary
Thales Edisoft Portugal, S.A. is seeking a System and V&V Engineer for their Airspace Mobility Solutions team. The role involves integrating air traffic control and information management systems with sensors. Responsibilities include translating operational objectives into engineering requirements, developing infrastructure definitions, providing technical support, writing and executing test cases, tracking problem change reports, and performing validation activities during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in Systems Engineering, V&V of complex systems, preferably in Air Traffic Control, and proficiency in English.
Must Have
- Degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications) or Air Traffic Control
- At least 1 year of experience in Systems Engineering, Verification and Validation of complex systems
- Experience in test preparation and execution: documentation, testing, problem analysis and defect reporting
- Written and Oral proficiency in English
- Availability to travel abroad for periods up to 1 month – each 2 or 3 months
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand operational objectives and translate them into engineering requirements
- Develop infrastructure engineering definitions and documentation aligned with project needs
- Provide operational and functional support to end-users and internal engineering teams, resolving technical inquiries
- Write and execute test cases to verify system requirements, including documentation, problem analysis and defect reporting
- Track and validate Problem Change Report (PCR) corrective actions in coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Perform validation activities during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), including reporting and customer briefings

As a System and V&V Engineer you will have the opportunity to work in the Airspace Mobility Solutions team, as you will be working in an exciting and technically challenging domain integrating air traffic control and information management systems with sensors.
Requirements:
