Job Description

Valeo is seeking a System Integration & Verification Lead for IVI at its Garching location. This role involves leading the validation of key IVI functions, reviewing automotive communication protocols, and developing test automation frameworks with Python and dSPACE Automation Desk. You will implement CI/CD pipelines and support homologation and certification tests for various IVI-related standards. The position requires leading a technical team, managing external test providers, and effectively communicating complex technical issues. A degree in electrical engineering or computer science, along with experience in automotive electronics system integration testing and IVI function validation, is essential.

Must Have:

Lead validation of key IVI functions
Review automotive communication protocols
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks (Python, dSPACE Automation Desk)
Work in various test environments
Utilize industry-standard tools (Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, dSPACE HIL)
Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Support homologation and certification tests (EMC, RED, UN-R10, FCC, CE, Google xTS, Apple MFi)
Lead a technical team, manage priorities, foster collaboration
Manage external test service providers
Communicate complex technical issues to stakeholders
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Experience in automotive electronics system integration testing
Profound practical experience in IVI function and Multi-ECU system validation
Expert knowledge of vehicle bus systems and diagnostic procedures
Understanding of infotainment system architecture
Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management

Supporting homologation tests for key IVI-related certifications: EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) – 2014/30/EU RED (Radio Equipment Directive) – 2014/53/EU UN-R10 (EMC for motor vehicles) Regional type approvals (FCC, CE marking) Google xTS and Apple MFi
Leading a technical team, managing priorities, and fostering a cooperative work environment
Managing external test service providers
Communicating complex technical issues to customers, management, and development team
