Job Summary

Job Description

This role, located near Orléans, involves contributing to the development and qualification of system-of-systems, working closely with system engineering and hardware/software development teams. Key responsibilities include defining integration/validation logic, organizing and conducting IVVQ activities (tests, IADT matrix), coordinating with partners, analyzing technical issues, and supporting system deployment and operational maintenance. The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in IVVQ discipline and knowledge of the system development process.
Must have:
  • Contribute to the development and qualification of system-of-systems.
  • Contribute strongly to defining integration/validation logic.
  • Organize, conduct, and perform IVVQ activities (tests, IADT matrix).
  • Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings.
  • Ensure coordination with industrial partners, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Process and analyze technical facts, answer client technical and logistical questions.
  • Manage indicators and report to project management using tools.
  • Participate in drafting qualification files and contribute to client acceptance.
  • Contribute to the insertion of new technologies.
  • Deploy the entire solution and support client operational commissioning.
  • Contribute to the operational maintenance of delivered systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IVVQ discipline.
  • Knowledge of the system development process (V-cycle).
  • Experience in requirements processing, IADT matrices, and System Engineering/IVV intertwining.
  • Ability to capitalize, document, and synthesize work.
Good to have:
  • Experience with THALES Engineering workshop tools (DOORS, VIVALDI) is an advantage.

Your daily life

Located near Orléans, the site is a reference in supporting weapon systems and radars worldwide. It houses engineering, development, and integration activities for air defense systems.

The Integrated Air Protection Systems (IAS) Operations Business Line designs, supplies, and supports world-class land and naval systems for air operations command and control, anti-aircraft defense, and ground attack. The IAS Business Line develops innovative solutions and is committed to the performance of a global system, integrating equipment from Thales and other manufacturers.

By joining us, you will be entrusted with the following missions:

  • Contribute to the development and qualification of system-of-systems in conjunction with system engineering and hardware and software development teams.
  • Strongly contribute to the definition of the integration/validation logic in connection with industrial partners and with the system architecture.
  • In relation with the IVVQM, organize, conduct, and carry out IVVQ activities (tests, IADT matrix).
  • Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings, produce expected documents and supports, and lead working groups.
  • Ensure coordination of activities with our industrial partners, clients, and subcontracting companies and create solutions to take into account new needs.
  • Ensure the processing and analysis of technical facts, answer technical and logistical questions from clients.
  • Using tools, manage indicators, ensure reporting to project management.
  • Participate in the drafting of qualification files and contribute to their acceptance by the client.
  • Contribute to the insertion of new technologies.
  • In the country concerned, deploy the entire solution and support the client in operational commissioning.
  • Contribute to the operational maintenance of delivered systems.

This position may also require assignments depending on projects and timelines for periods of 1 to 3 weeks.

Your profile

Engineer or equivalent training and you have experience in:

  • IVVQ discipline for a minimum of 3 years, and knowledge of the system development process (V-cycle)
  • requirements processing, IADT matrices, and the intertwining of System Engineering/IVV
  • THALES Engineering workshop tools are an advantage (DOORS, VIVALDI)
  • the ability to capitalize, document, and synthesize the work carried out
