Job Description

The Talent Mobility Specialist supports Nissan Americas Talent Mobility operations in regard to immigration, Japanese employees, database maintenance, affiliate agreements, affiliate expense chargebacks, mobility policies and foreign assignments. The role involves partnering with internal and cross-functional teams, assisting with mobility projects, and identifying process improvement areas. Key responsibilities include supporting immigration activities, auditing and updating affiliate agreements, supporting expense recharge processes, calculating salary FSA, supporting FSA operations, maintaining and updating databases, and supporting vendor invoicing processes. This position also involves supporting Japanese mobility operations and preparing educational training materials. The candidate must have a good command of English, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Job Summary

Supports Nissan Americas Talent Mobility operations in regard to immigration, Japanese employees, database maintenance, affiliate agreements, affiliate expense chargebacks, mobility policies and foreign assignments.  Partners with other internal and cross-functional teams on mobility cases and processes as needed.  Assists with mobility projects as needed. Identifies process improvements areas and solutions.

Job Functions

  • Supports immigration activities including interaction with outside counsel, employee and business on immigration data requests, coordinate signing of immigration letters and returning to outside counsel and maintaining immigration database.
  • Audit and support update of affiliate intercompany agreements, database and employee list in agreement addendum.
  • Support affiliate expense recharge process including preparing recharges, tracking in database and follow-up with affiliates on outstanding unpaid expenses.
  • Support salary FSA salary calculations process including preparing, communicating and tracking in database.
  • Support FSA operations in regard to preparing FSA assignment and extension letters and maintain/update database for tracking assignment start and end dates. 
  • Audit database for tracking assignment start and end dates.
  • FSA database process support including maintaining and updating database and preparing FSA reports for HRBPs and management.
  • Support FSA variable comp and merit process including communicating to FSAs and responding to inquiries.
  • Support vendor invoicing process including reconciling invoice amounts, initiating payments, and preparing annual Nissan Purchasing Department requisitions/shopping baskets.
  • Supports Japanese mobility operations in regard to monthly headcount, annual headcount planning, preparing educational training materials, etc.  Monthly FSA HC Monitoring, G-Transfer notification process (after received at NNA), Jpats Oversea Salary Calculation sheet distribution process (If NML HRSC cannot accommodate our needs)

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience with mobility operations or data analytics is preferred.
  • WorkDay knowledge/experience a plus.
  • Organized, dependable, flexible, and motivated.

Experience:

  • 0-3 years combined mobility operations, analytics and/or HR experience. 

Education:

  • Degree or 4 years of college or equivalent, (Human Resources, Math, Data Science, Business, or related field) desirable.

Computer Skills:
Thorough knowledge of information and web-based systems from a functional perspective. Must be proficient in using Microsoft office products such as Excel, Word, and Access.
