We are currently recruiting for a Technical Author Assistant (TAA) to join the RRSL Availability Centre, based in Derby.
The role is within the Technical Documentation team, focused on the creation and amendment of technical documentation, offering a combination of responsive issue support and optimised maintenance management to deliver first class support to the submarine’s enterprise, in turn maximising and improving the availability of RN submarines.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home, or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
As the Technical Documentation TAA you will be a point of contact for dealing with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), Enterprise partners and other Rolls-Royce departments. You will assist in enabling the development and delivery of maintenance and operational Nuclear Steam Raising Plant (NSRP) technical documentation used by engineering teams across the enterprise.
