Job Description

The Technical Advisory team is seeking a passionate Software Engineer - Technical Consultant to join their team, focusing on cloud services and web client components. This role offers an opportunity to innovate, learn from industry experts, and utilize cutting-edge cloud technologies. Responsibilities include experimenting, continuous learning, delivering impactful code, mentoring, and contributing to key decisions within the team.
Must have:
  • Developing scalable, distributed applications
  • Full-stack engineering (frontend and backend)
  • TypeScript with React and .Net Core
  • Designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices and Serverless architectures
  • Building cloud-based API platforms or backend systems
  • Knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architectures
  • Working on Agile processes like SCRUM
  • Experience with Git
Good to have:
  • Experience working with open source projects
  • Experience with Serverless Framework
  • Experience with AWS Lambda Functions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience developing scalable, distributed applications
  • Part of a large distributed team with significant responsibility
  • Strong experience as a full-stack engineer developing and testing both frontend and backend
  • Strong experience in TypeScript with significant experience in React and .Net Core
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Microservices and Serverless architectures
  • Strong experience with building cloud-based API platforms or backend systems
  • Strong knowledge of AWS, databases, and cloud architectures
  • Strong experience and understanding of working on Agile processes like SCRUM
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to influence without authority
  • Ability to write good design documents
  • Ability to cultivate consensus and alignment within and across teams
  • Experience with Git or equivalent distributed revision control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with open source projects
  • Experience with Serverless Framework
  • Experience with AWS Lambda Functions
