As a Technical Production Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate assembly of products within a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating various production machinery and contributing to the smooth functioning of manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include assembling components, operating machinery, ensuring quality standards, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. You will work on-site in Santa Catarina, near Monterrey, Mexico. The role requires a strong understanding of production workflows, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining machinery and equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and documenting production data.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of assembly line experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Technical certification in a related field
  • Basic fluency in English

Impacto en Este Puesto

Estamos buscando a un Técnico de Producción altamente motivado y calificado, con 3 a 5 años de experiencia en operaciones de línea de ensamblaje y entornos de manufactura. El candidato ideal será una persona práctica, responsable del ensamblaje eficiente y preciso de nuestros productos, la operación de diversas máquinas de producción, y de contribuir al funcionamiento fluido general de nuestros procesos de manufactura. Este puesto requiere un sólido entendimiento de los flujos de trabajo de producción, gran atención al detalle y un compromiso con la calidad y la seguridad. La persona en este puesto trabajará presencialmente en nuestras instalaciones de Santa Catarina, cerca de Monterrey, México.
Tenga en cuenta que este no es un puesto de supervisión y nuestro candidato ideal tendrá entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia.

 

Áreas de Responsabilidad

Operaciones de Línea de Ensamblaje:

  • Ensamblar de manera precisa y eficiente componentes y subcomponentes de acuerdo con planos, esquemas e instrucciones de trabajo.
  • Operar y monitorear diversas herramientas, equipos y maquinaria de ensamblaje (por ejemplo, herramientas eléctricas, plantillas, dispositivos, máquinas automáticas de ensamblaje).
  • Asegurar que todos los productos ensamblados cumplan con los estándares y especificaciones de calidad.
  • Identificar y reportar cualquier defecto, mal funcionamiento o desviación en el proceso de ensamblaje.

Soporte a Operaciones de Manufactura:

  • Operar y supervisar el funcionamiento de la maquinaria y el equipo de producción, asegurando un rendimiento y una producción óptimos.
  • Monitorear los procesos de producción para identificar y resolver cualquier problema que surja, escalando los problemas complejos al personal correspondiente.
  • Realizar mantenimiento rutinario y limpieza de la maquinaria y áreas de trabajo para mantener un entorno de producción seguro y eficiente.
  • Apoyar en la instalación y desmantelamiento de líneas de producción para diferentes ciclos de producto.
  • Cumplir con todos los protocolos y procedimientos de seguridad, incluyendo el uso adecuado de equipo de protección personal (EPP).

Control de Calidad y Mejora Continua:

  • Realizar inspecciones y revisiones de calidad en proceso para asegurar la integridad del producto.
  • Documentar datos de producción, incluyendo unidades completadas, piezas rechazadas y tiempos de inactividad.
  • Participar activamente en iniciativas de mejora continua, sugiriendo ideas para aumentar la eficiencia, reducir el desperdicio y mejorar la calidad del producto.
  • Solucionar problemas técnicos básicos en la línea de producción y escalar cuando sea necesario.

 

Demandas Físicas

  • Capacidad para trabajar de pie o sentado y desplazarse por el área de producción durante periodos prolongados.
  • Capacidad para levantar y mover materiales y productos según sea necesario (por ejemplo, hasta [especificar peso, ej. 11–23 kg]).
  • Comodidad para trabajar en un entorno de manufactura acelerado con variaciones de temperatura y niveles de ruido.
  • Capacidad demostrada para mantener la concentración y atención al detalle mientras realiza tareas repetitivas.

 

Expectativas de Viaje

  • Disponibilidad para viajar entre el 11% y 25% del tiempo.

 

Cualidades Deseadas, Calificaciones, Educación y Experiencia Equivalente

  • Certificado de preparatoria o equivalente; un certificado técnico o carrera técnica en un campo relacionado es un plus.
  • 3 a 5 años de experiencia comprobada trabajando en líneas de ensamblaje dentro de operaciones de manufactura.
  • Gran habilidad mecánica y capacidad para leer e interpretar planos técnicos, esquemas e instrucciones de trabajo.
  • Dominio en el uso de diversas herramientas manuales, eléctricas y equipos de producción.
  • Familiaridad con procedimientos de control de calidad y mejores prácticas en manufactura.
  • Excelente atención al detalle y compromiso con la producción de trabajo de alta calidad.
  • Fuertes habilidades para resolver problemas y capacidad para solucionar fallas técnicas menores.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y como parte de un equipo en un entorno de ritmo rápido.
  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación (oral y escrita). Se prefiere fluidez básica en inglés pero no es obligatorio.
  • Conocimiento de regulaciones de seguridad y mejores prácticas en un entorno de manufactura.

📌 Technical Production Specialist – Shape the Future of Manufacturing with Fictiv!

Impact In This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Production Employee with 3–5 years of experience in assembly line operations and manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual responsible for the efficient and accurate assembly of our products, operating various production machinery, and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of our manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of production workflows, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. The person in this position will work on-site at our location in Santa Catarina, near Monterrey, México.
Please note that this is not a supervisory role and our ideal candidate will have between 3 – 5 years of experience.

 

Areas of Responsibility

Assembly Line Operations:

  • Perform precise and efficient assembly of components and sub-assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Operate and monitor various assembly tools, equipment, and machinery (e.g., power tools, jigs, fixtures, automated assembly machines).
  • Ensure all assembled products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or deviations in the assembly process.

Manufacturing Operations Support:

  • Operate and oversee the functioning of production machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and output.
  • Monitor production processes to identify and resolve any issues that may arise, escalating complex problems to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Assist in setting up and tearing down production lines for different product runs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.

Quality Control & Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct in-process quality checks and inspections to ensure product integrity.
  • Document production data, including completed units, rejected parts, and downtime.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues on the production line and escalate as needed.

 

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work standing, or sitting and move around the production floor for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and moving materials and products as required (e.g., up to [specify weight, e.g., 25–50 lbs]).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

 

Travel Expectations

  • Travel 11–25%

 

Desired Traits, Qualifications, Education and Experience Equivalency

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 3 – 5 years of proven experience working on assembly lines within a manufacturing operation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency in operating various hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and best practices in manufacturing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written). Basic fluency in English is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
