This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of aligning technology with business objectives. The CTO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Must have:
  • 15+ years of IT experience, 7+ in senior management.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure, budgets, and development.
  • Deep understanding of technology trends and best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure management and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale technology projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS, and/or CISSP.
  • Ability to think tactically and translate business objectives.
  • Proficient in risk mitigation and data security.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Job Summary

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision and strategy. This role encompasses overseeing the development and implementation of technological solutions that drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency. The CTO will lead technology to function globally, ensure robust cybersecurity measures, and promote innovation across all verticals.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of aligning technology with business objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for owning, managing and enabling the Global IT Infrastructure. The CTO will accelerate digital innovation within the organization and lead technical staff to ensure the efficient development of products and services.

This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and inspire a talented technology team, drive digital transformation, and shape the technological future of our organization. The CTO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives, ensuring scalability and operational efficiency.

• Proven track record in selecting, implementing, and designing technology solutions to drive business objectives.

• Create and implement technology strategies, optimize resource allocation, while ensuring cost-effective solutions.

• Strong understanding of the full spectrum of business solutions built on the latest technological platforms, ensuring the company remains competitively advanced. This includes a nuanced understanding of AI and its application across all GlobalStep lines of service and support functions.

• Responsible for the full enablement of the GlobalStep Office 365 platform.

• Should have experience with ERP solutions

• Assess the existing IT infrastructure and recommend optimal IT strategies.

• Oversee and support the Global IT infrastructure and its global enablement.

• Establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management, and security protocols to ensure high performance, uptime, and data integrity.

• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.

• Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining the company’s technological edge.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand their technological needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning

Must have

  • Over 15+ years of experience in the Information Technology domain, with a proven track record of success, including at least 7 years in a senior management role overseeing teams and strategic initiatives.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure, IT budgets, software development, and systems architecture.
  • Deep understanding of technology trends, best practices, and the technology landscape.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience in driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud technologies, and implementing data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS, and/or CISSP.
  • Ability to think tactically and translate business objectives into technology initiatives.
  • Proficient in risk mitigation and data security of digital assets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
