The Junior Executive – Accounts Receivable is responsible for supporting the end-to-end AR process including billing, invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliation activities. The role involves assisting senior team members in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely customer payments, and supporting reporting and audit requirements.
The candidate will work closely with internal teams and international stakeholders (primarily US/EU) to resolve account discrepancies, prepare sales registers, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
1. Support senior team members performing accounts receivable process including billings, cash applications, collections, and customer account reconciliations
2. Support AR executives on the analysis and reconciliation of receivable transactions to ensure there are no discrepancies or errors in accounting records
3. Process invoices, ensuring that they comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
4. Monitor and analyse customer accounts to identify delinquent or high-risk accounts, and work with the sales and customer service teams to resolve issues
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer payments, perform cash application
6. Support senior team members in preparation of detailed sales register and analysis, and ensure that all reporting is accurate and on-time
7. Provide colleague assistance preparing/sharing documentation with external auditors and accounting firms to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
8. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders to gather information required for accurate work tracking and preparation of invoices
9. Produce high quality work – ensuring that all work product and reports are accurate and updated in an organized and timely manner
10. Support your Manager on accounts receivable metrics, including customer aging reports, collection progress, and cash receipts forecasting.
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or related field required
2. Excellent English skills and ability to communicate with international stakeholders in US/EU
3. Touch typing skills strongly preferred
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
5. Passion for the games and interest in understanding the games industry
6. Strong interpersonal skills – ability to support and solicit guidance from senior colleagues
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
