Tender Manager Business Office

As a Tender Manager at SWARCO Netherlands, you will lead the tender process, developing strategies to secure winning bids. You'll guide a dedicated team of specialists, including calculators and writers, through creative sessions to understand client needs and craft compelling proposals. Your role involves being the primary contact for the company, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, while meticulously monitoring project progress across all key metrics. Must Have

• Determine strategy and guide the tender process

• Knowledge and experience with RAW

• Completed HBO education
• Several years of experience in tenders, procurement, or project management

Job Description

As a Tender Manager, you determine the strategy and guide the tender. You will be responsible for tenders within SWARCO Netherlands to achieve the winning bid. You guide your tender team, consisting of a calculator, plan writer(s), project management/execution, and various specialists, to secure assignments together. By thoroughly understanding the client's needs, holding creative sessions, and working intensively with the entire team, a plan of approach is drawn up.

You have knowledge and experience with RAW and preferably also with construction teams or UAV-GC. Together with the tender team, you set goals to steer a project towards a winning tender. During this process, you are the point of contact for our company and you consult with the client, suppliers, and subcontractors. Of course, you also monitor the progress of your project, expressed in time, money, quality, scope, opportunities, and risks.

Your creativity is needed to achieve a winning plan where we win on our green ambitions and flawless execution. You guide the writer and sometimes write yourself. As a Tender Manager, you are responsible for collecting the right information and together you form a team where everyone contributes from their own expertise.

Your team

In this role, you work within the Business Office. From this department, we support the various SWARCO regions with sales processes, tenders, and calculations in the field of public lighting and traffic light installations. The team consists of nine colleagues, including calculators, engineers, and a fellow tender manager.
