Job Description

As an individual contributor, you will prepare, plan, and execute testing activities on synthetic flight training devices and in testing laboratories. You will collaborate with test teams, engineering, and program management. Your responsibilities include testing and leading continuous improvement initiatives for various synthetic training devices (Full Flight Simulators, Flight Training Devices, Computer Aided Training devices) to ensure design, customer, training, and regulatory requirements are met within budget and schedule. You will also support customer acceptance and device qualification by governmental authorities. This specialist professional role requires a broad knowledge of several professional disciplines.
Must have:
  • 8 years of related experience
  • Professional degree
  • Expertise in testing synthetic flight training devices
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Good to have:
  • Experience with Full Flight Simulators
  • Experience with Flight Training Devices
  • Experience with Computer Aided Training devices
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Experience with customer acceptance testing

About This Role

                                                                                                         

INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTOR - Prepares, plans and executes testing activities on the synthetic flight training device and in testing laboratories in cooperation with other members of the test team and other members of the Engineering and Program Management organizations. Tests and leads continuous improvements initiatives for Synthetic Training Devices, from Full Flight Simulators through Flight Training Devices to Computer Aided Training devices, to ensure the design, customer, training and regulatory requirements have been adequately met within budget and schedule constraints. Supports customer acceptance and device qualification of respective governmental authorities.

Specialist professional level - Incumbent in this role is recognized as subject matter expert within discipline or a key contributor in a more complex/critical environment. Having a wide-ranging experience conducting complex work important to the organization. Position requires professional degree with a broad knowledge of several professional disciplines and typically 8 years of related experience.
