Responsibilities

  • Documenting hardware/tools/platform tutorials.
  • Identifying which additional testing activities would benefit current projects.
  • Defining local methodologies and terminology and ways to integrate them.
  • Identifying new opportunities for the local team to support global GlobalStep activity by revisiting the test case creation process.
  • Carrying out training based on documentation.
  • Mentoring new members of the team.
  • Carrying out the more complex tasks and ensuring adequate coordination and communication within the team.
  • Introducing the latest tools and innovation in daily activities.
  • Knows advanced QA terminology and can carry out conversations in an accurate manner in the area of expertise.
  • Compile and send out daily reports in the absence of the QA Test Lead with the gathered information from the rest of the team members, in such a way that there is no negative impact.
  • Involved in planning activities on the assigned projects and has the capacity to advise on technical matters (task completion estimates, platform-specific limitations etc.).
  • Understand key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Actively participates in any project-related discussions (daily/weekly calls or any type of meeting).
  • Contributes to a healthy team environment by fostering mutual respect while working towards a common goal.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in game testing on multiple projects (mobile/PC/console)
  • Strong leadership qualities: Ability to motivate and guide junior team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Work effectively across teams (development, design) to ensure a high-quality final product.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex issues and develop solutions.
  • Passion for gaming: Deep understanding of various game genres and a keen eye for detail.
