Job Description

The Tools Engineer at Keywords Studios will be responsible for setting up and supporting client-provided toolbases (e.g., game engines), maintaining Keywords' internal toolbase, responding to artist feedback and requests for tools (Maya, Max, Blender, Houdini, etc.), and optimizing resource development workflows. This role requires excellent English communication skills, proficiency in Python (C# or C++ a plus), experience with Perforce/Git, and the ability to create technical documentation. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive in problem-solving, and a strong team player. Responsibilities include initial setup and technical support for client tools, maintaining and updating internal tools, and collaborating with artists to improve efficiency and workflow.

Must have:

Excellent English (written & verbal)
Python proficiency
Perforce/Git experience
Technical documentation skills
Problem-solving and teamwork

Good to have:

C# or C++ experience

Description

Be responsible for the initial setup and support for client provided tool bases.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written English skills. Ability to work with technical documentation.

Python knowledge required, C# or C++ is big plus.

Perforce/Git.

Ability to create technical documentation.
