Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team to assist in reviewing, thinking, and planning around new global developments in transfer pricing. The Transfer Pricing Manager will report to the Sr. Manager Transfer Pricing and will be a member of a worldwide finance team that strives to be best-in-class. This role involves managing global transfer pricing documentation and compliance, monitoring regulatory changes, supporting policy development, performing functional analysis, coordinating data collection, reviewing economic analyses, and driving process improvements and digitalization within the transfer pricing function.

Must Have

  • Management of Global Transfer Pricing Documentation and Compliance
  • Monitor changes in global transfer pricing regulations
  • Support development and implementation of global transfer pricing policies
  • Perform functional analysis interviews and draft functional analyses
  • Coordinate with business, accounting, and regional tax teams to collect and validate data
  • Review benchmarking and economic analyses for intercompany transactions
  • Undertake process improvement and standardization of documentation
  • Provide audit support for transfer pricing issues
  • Support transfer pricing related to M&A
  • Assist in driving tax digitalization of the transfer pricing function
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of transfer pricing experience
  • Solid understanding of US transfer pricing regulations, OECD Guidelines, BEPS Action Plans
  • Experience with transfer pricing documentation and compliance across multiple jurisdictions

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team to assist in reviewing, thinking, and planning around new global developments in transfer pricing. The Transfer Pricing Manager will report to the Sr. Manager Transfer Pricing and will be a member of a worldwide finance team that strives to be best-in-class.

This job involves the following:

  • Management of Global Transfer Pricing Documentation and Compliance, including the Master File, Local Files / Transfer Pricing Reports, Transfer Pricing forms / returns and CbCR notifications; ensuring timely completion and that these meet contemporaneous documentation requirements in each country. This will require strong project management skills and close management of timelines
  • Monitor changes in global transfer pricing regulations and assist in assessing their impact on the company's compliance framework
  • Provide input into future planning opportunities involving transfer pricing and the Company’s operating profile
  • Support the development and implementation of global transfer pricing policies and ensure consistency in transfer pricing practices
  • Perform functional analysis interviews and draft functional analyses
  • Coordinate with the business, accounting and regional tax teams to collect and validate data for documentation and develop a deep understanding of the business
  • Review benchmarking and economic analyses for intercompany transactions
  • Undertake process improvement and standardization/automation of transfer pricing documentation
  • Contribute to process improvements in documentation workflows and data collection
  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on documentation requirements
  • Provide audit support for transfer pricing issues including preparing responses, gathering supporting documentation and analyzing local financials
  • Support transfer pricing related to M&A, ensuring that all required transfer pricing documentation is in place, including providing support for memos documenting IP transfers; and preparing Chapter IX memos using internally developed templates
  • Assist in driving tax digitalization of the transfer pricing function, including implementing technology tools to streamline transfer pricing compliance and reporting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree, or other post-graduate qualification or professional certification (CA, CPA, CFA) preferred
  • 5–8 years of transfer pricing experience, preferably in a multinational software or technology company or a Big Four firm
  • Solid understanding of the US transfer pricing regulations, the OECD Guidelines, and the BEPS Action Plans
  • Experience with transfer pricing documentation and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and overall ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • A self-starter, motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to operate cross-functionally
  • Ability to perform financial / economic analyses
