Job Description

You will be part of the Technology Group pioneering a powerful technology for gaming platforms, Game Development Kits, and Tools. As a Unity GDK Support Engineer, you will assist game developers in transitioning to the new Unity-based GDK, providing sample code, feature development, bug fixing, and expanding GDK functionality. The role involves leveraging Unity expertise, optimizing performance, mentoring developers, and collaborating with global teams to ensure project alignment and high-quality standards.

Must Have:
  • Leverage deep expertise in Unity—covering scripting, animation, session management, textures, UI/dialog systems, visual/audio effects, and timelines—to deliver robust GDK solutions.
  • Optimize memory usage and performance, consistently applying strong debugging skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Design, develop, and maintain sample code and new GDK features, while expanding the GDK's functionality through bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to game developers, providing training, code reviews, and hands-on support to help them integrate and use the GDK effectively.
  • Partner closely with leads and managers—both locally and across global teams—to clarify technical complexity, communicate clear estimates, and ensure alignment on execution plans.
  • Proactively identify and remove blockers that impede project progress, demonstrating strong ownership and prioritization of business and team goals over individual tasks.
  • Contribute to peer reviews and feedback loops, assisting in upholding high-quality standards and following established guidelines.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in C#.
  • 3+ years of experience in Unity.
  • 3+ years C++.
  • Experience working with modern software development processes.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable, and portable code.

The team is responsible for devising innovative solutions to support the imaginations of the greatest game creators in the industry. As a Unity GDK Support Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting game developers transition to the new Unity-based GDK. This will be in the form of sample code, feature development and bug fixing, part of the duties will also include expanding the GDK functionality.

Pay Range

$94,185 - $174,915 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
