Must Have:

  • Collaborate on the creation and management of the US International Transportation budget.
  • Drive a team composed of experts in international transportation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience in international transport operations.
  • 5 years of experience identifying long term opportunities and building a strategic roadmap.
  • 5 years of experience partnering with service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience utilizing business intelligence software to monitor KPIs.
  • 5 years of experience working with customers to arrange air, ocean, and road transportation.
  • 5 years of experience performing Cold Chain Management.
  • 4 years of experience negotiating contracts with carriers and commercial relationships with suppliers and customs.
  • 4 years of experience maintaining and supporting international distribution of finished goods.

Description

Support international transportation operations by multimodal way to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery for internal and external customers. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with transportation, customs, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining internal quality standards. Analyze and enhance operational performance and compliance, including cost, quality, and service, in collaboration with international sales administration, purchasing, quality control and trade compliance teams. Support relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and other transportation partners, including the development of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and coordination with the purchasing department. Support the implementation of innovative, cost-efficient, and environmentally sustainable transportation solutions in partnership with key stakeholders. Represent proactive transportation within the flow management governances and projects. Support best-in-class service-oriented solutions, conversion to innovative and cost/CO2 efficient transportation modes, and strategy with main freight forwarders and carriers. Take accountability for the successful execution of transportation-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Coordinate the development and negotiation of transportation contracts and manage the supplier base to optimize costs and service levels. Ensure compliance with international transportation regulations and government policies, while proactively addressing potential risks or challenges. Collaborate on the creation and management of the US International Transportation budget, ensuring that expenditures are aligned with organizational goals. Participate in build of US International Transport budget. Drive a team composed of experts in international transportation. Up to 15% Domestic and 10% international travel required to visit suppliers & distribution centers. Telecommuting may be permitted 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to 595 Anglum Rd.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics,

or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as an Export Coordinator, International Transportation Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving international transport operations.

In lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept 3 years of post-secondary studies in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, plus 6 years of professional experience as an Export Coordinator, International Transportation Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving international transport operations.

Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience identifying long term opportunities and building and delivering a strategic roadmap; 5 years of professional experience partnering with service providers in close collaboration with internal stakeholders (including InterCo teams, subsidiaries and distributors, Finance, HSE, and trade compliance); 5 years of professional experience utilizing business intelligence software to monitor KPIs; 5 years of professional experience working with customers to arrange transportation of products including air, ocean, and road; 5 years of professional experience performing Cold Chain Management; 4 years of professional experience negotiating contracts with carriers and commercial relationships with suppliers and customs; and 4

years of professional experience maintaining and supporting international distribution of finished goods.
