Job Summary
Entrata is seeking a Utility Management Specialist to join its Tech-Enabled Services team. This role involves managing a portfolio of multifamily housing clients, ensuring high satisfaction with Entrata's ResidentUtility and Utility Expense Management products. The specialist will act as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through utility management best practices, optimizing utility recapture processes, and managing project implementations. Key responsibilities include client relationship management, problem-solving, and coordinating internal teams to drive client success.
Must Have
- Manage a portfolio of clients for ResidentUtility and Utility Expense Management products.
- Conduct regular client meetings and provide expert guidance on utility recovery processes.
- Build strong consultative relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
- Monitor client health and proactively address potential issues to improve retention.
- Lead client turn projects, ensuring seamless transitions between lease cycles.
- Analyze utility data trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, utility management, or project management.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on retention and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent decision-making and consulting skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs) and ability to adapt to new software quickly.
Good to Have
- Experience in accounts payable or accounting, especially in utility billing.
- Background in property management or multifamily housing operations.
- Familiarity with utility expense recovery and industry best practices.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and act on trends.
- Previous experience with Entrata's ResidentUtility and Utility Expense Management products.

This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of multifamily housing clients, ensuring high satisfaction with Entrata's ResidentUtility and Utility Expense Management products. The specialist will act as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through utility management best practices, optimizing their utility recapture processes, and managing project implementations. Success in this role requires strong client relationship management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with the ability to coordinate internal teams to drive client success. This is a dynamic role for someone passionate about client retention, project management, and utility consulting.
Responsibilities will include
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction with Entrata’s ResidentUtility and Utility Expense Management products.
- Conduct regular client meetings, providing expert guidance on utility recovery processes and system configuration.
- Build strong consultative relationships, collaborating with internal teams to support client success.
- Monitor client health and proactively address potential issues to improve retention.
- Educate clients on product updates and new features that enhance utility management efficiency.
- Lead client turn projects, ensuring seamless transitions between lease cycles.
- Analyze utility data trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
- Act as a client advocate, managing references and case studies to showcase product value.
- Support internal decision-making processes by providing client feedback and insights.
- Contribute to team projects and initiatives to improve service delivery and client outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, utility management, or project management.
- Strong client relationship management skills with a focus on retention and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent decision-making and consulting skills, with the ability to guide clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs) and ability to adapt to new software quickly.
Preferred Qualifications

$47,000 - $75,000 a year
This band covers the full salary range for the role. Your offer within this range will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity.
