Job Description

As the Versioning Editor at Hogarth, you will ensure the highest quality and timeliness of projects, utilizing Adobe Premiere and After Effects for high-profile clients. Responsibilities include creative editing, facilitating client sessions, training global teams, collaborating with producers, and ensuring quality control and brand compliance. You will also ensure deliverables meet legal and technical specifications and continuously develop new software skills.
Must have:
  • Utilise skills in Premiere and After Effects for high-quality content.
  • Facilitate client attended edit sessions under pressure.
  • Assist with supporting and training Global Content Hub Edit teams.
  • Work closely with Bookings and Producers on project requirements.
  • Monitor output quality and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are always followed.
  • Ensure master deliverables meet legal and technical specifications.
  • Show keen interest in developing skills and learning new software.
  • Proven experience as an editor with strong portfolio.
  • Basic working knowledge of Cinema 4D.
  • Experience with TVCs, DOOH assets, and social media deliverables.
  • Experience of QC, clocking, and international broadcast delivery.
  • Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Creative thinker with ability to problem solve and reimagine briefs.
  • Conforming and troubleshooting EDL/XML/AAFs for smooth workflow.

What does a Versioning Editor do at Hogarth?

As the Versioning Editor, you will ensure the highest quality and timeliness of all your projects. Your experience in online edit using Adobe Premiere After Effects will be essential as you edit content for a range of high-profile clients, collaboratively working with other post production departments and producers.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Editing: Utilise your skills in Premiere and After Effects to edit high-quality content, ensuring that creative excellence is maintained throughout all projects.
  • Attended Edit Sessions: Facilitate client attend edit sessions, managing the process under pressure to ensure satisfaction and effective project outcomes.
  • Training and Development: Assist with supporting and training our Global Content Hub Edit teams, ensuring consistent standards and practices across all projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Bookings and Producers to understand project requirements, timelines, and creative direction, ensuring alignment on deliverables.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of output, providing constructive feedback to team members to enhance skills and overall departmental performance.
  • Brand Guidelines Compliance: Ensure brand guidelines are always followed when delivering projects.
  • Legal and Technical Specifications: Ensure master deliverables meet all legal and technical specifications.
  • Skill Development: Show a keen interest in developing skills and learning new and innovative software to enhance editing capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an editor with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
  • Basic working knowledge of Cinema 4D.
  • Experience working with a variety of content including TVCs, DOOH assets and social media deliverables.
  • Experience of QC, clocking and international broadcast delivery requirements.
  • Experience working with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to create and adapt a variety of assets.
  • A Creative thinker with the ability to problem solve and reimagine a Creative brief for Adaptation.
  • Conforming and troubleshooting EDL/XML/AAFs to guarantee a smooth workflow.
  • A passion for creative excellence and innovative storytelling.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders when working on projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
