As the Vice President of Product Management for One Network, you will develop and lead the product management team focused on Extreme Networks’ key network infrastructure initiatives. These include software portfolios for wired switching, wireless networking, and SD-WAN, along with overseeing the Global Security and Compliance program that spans the entire Extreme portfolio. Your team is responsible for strategy and roadmap development and execution across Enterprise and Service Provider customers. One Network is a critical component in differentiating Extreme Networks from the competition by creating an infrastructure supporting the Infinite Enterprise and allowing customers to design, deploy and manage an infrastructure that extends from the Data Center to the Campus and out to the Branch.
 
Product Managers play a highly visible role and are vital to the development and execution of the One Network, One Cloud, One Extreme product strategy, which provides the foundation for all Extreme offers. As PM’s, we are responsible for delivering the best customer/partner experience across all our solutions allowing our customers and partners to become more productive and efficient. As the product management leader, you must have great team management skills with the ability to lead people, putting them in the right position for success, and ensuring the career development of each person. You must also excel at communication, collaboration, prioritization and accountability for solution delivery and adoption.

As a product manager, you will be working externally with customers and partners to continually enhance and grow the business. You will also work closely with the Sales organization, Sales Operations, Marketing and Extreme IT.

Required Skills

    • You have at least 20 years of product management experience
    • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering, or mathematics
    • Experience with wired switching, wireless and SD-WAN solutions
    • Ability to creates alliances to develop an offering of exceptional design, quality, and experience and jointly improve our competitive advantage
    • Prioritizing work and being responsible for a strategic roadmap for Enterprise use cases
    • Assisting with cross-selling initiatives to enhance the partner experience
    • Experience with design or design research, and a history of building strong relationships with designers and engineers to deliver SaaS solutions that solve complex problems
    • Strong presentation and leadership skills
    • Track record of successful delivery of complex projects
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to articulate positioning and technology
    • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and use data to drive decision making
    • This position will eventually require up to 20% travel to customers and partners
$225,000 - $325,000 semi monthly
This role is also eligible for the corporate bonus plan as well as RSUs.
