Wolters Kluwer is seeking a motivated and talented professional as an Xactly Product Development Internal Consultant (Senior Analyst) to join Xactly Center of Excellence (COE) that supports 5 core divisions and 3,000+ sellers across 140+ countries. As part of our global sales transformation team, the COE partners with each of the Wolters Kluwer Divisions & Business Units to support the administration and adoption of our Xactly platform and end-to-end sales incentive compensation architecture.
In this role, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop new capabilities in Xactly that will drive operational excellence to Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, HR, and other partnering functions globally. Your role will act as an internal technical consultant responsible for configuring core sales comp plans & incentives as well as partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ideate & develop scalable solutions that drives sales performance excellence and ultimately boosts revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and/or develop solutions in Xactly to modernize internal operations that drive business value, efficiency, etc. by leveraging Xactly's R&D and product enhancements across Extend, Connect & Reporting modules.
- Support and/or develop in partnership with our IT team (Global Business Services) architectures and processes to govern data models, security, and retention across the sales compensation program's ecosystem
- Develop and implement advanced and adoptable processes, modernized functionality, and ensure global technical preparedness for all commissions systems (including multiple Xactly instances)
- Support strategic projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Support Xactly Administrators and Analytics teams as an advanced support resource when deep technical knowledge is needed to resolve challenges for the business to operative effectively
- Oversee configuration and development deployments across environments and instances
- Support the broader Xactly COE in driving value to the organization, including analytics, administration and change management
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, IT (Global Business Services), HR and others where necessary
- Assess, configure, and deploy commission/incentive plans, workflows and custom apps (in Xactly Extend)
Skills & Experiences:
- 2+ years in Xactly development/configuration
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Xactly Connect, Extend, Reporting, Administrator, and Plan Configuration Certification(s), or ability to obtain after onboarding
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically while considering tactical implications
- Communication: Communicates difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a different point of view
- Persuasion: Ability to socialize ideas and obtain stakeholder buy-in
- Presentation & Content Creation: Ability to create and communicate content in Powerpoint and Excel
- Organization: Excellent execution, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Xactly Administration: Proven experience in sales compensation administration, governance, and/or technical design, with an understanding of compensation methodologies and functional best practices
- Root Cause Analysis: Ability to identify root causes of common disputes/inquiries or other related challenges, then recommending/delivering process/policy/technology changes that strengthens operational excellence
- Xactly Development: Experience creating custom apps, automating processes, establishing new integrations, or creating custom analytics capabilities
- Plan Configuration: Experience configuring Commission Plan & Spiff/Incentive designs into Xactly (other ICM vendors will be considered)
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insightful analytics from complex data
- Intake & Assess: Experience the review process of commission calculation results; obtaining approvals as needed, and remaining focused to fulfill payroll submission requirements
- Data Governance: Experience establishing data governance practices and structure to generate insightful analytics
- Integrations: Experience with ETL tools (i.e. Informatica) for data automation & transformation
- Deployments: Oversee the releases of Xactly product enhancements & maintenance
- Coding: SQL (advanced)
Nice to Haves:
- ICM Knowledge: Certifications from other ICM systems (i.e. Varicent, SAP-Callidus)
- Coding: Python, Java, C++, etc
