The Video Strategist is a new and pivotal role within the Yahoo Ads division, created to define, implement, and bring to market a holistic video strategy across all of Yahoo’s iconic brands—including Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo News, Entertainment, and more.
At the outset, this will be a team of one, supported by cross-functional partners across Brand Strategy, Ad Product, Sales, Editorial, and Data Insights. The Video Strategist will develop frameworks, best practices, and market-ready solutions that help our audiences, production partners, and roster of blue-chip advertisers get the most value from Yahoo’s extensive video capabilities.
This role blends art and science—balancing creative storytelling, data-driven insights, and deep platform expertise. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, analytical thinker, and creative problem solver who can turn data into strategy and strategy into action.

The compensation for this position ranges from $122,625.00 - $255,625.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
