Job Description

As a VIP Team Lead at DraftKings, you will lead and develop a team of VIP Sales Associates, focusing on cultivating relationships with highly engaged players through reactivation, loyalty, and account management. As a VIP Team Lead, you will oversee a team of VIP Sales Associates who cultivate relationships with DraftKings’ most highly engaged Players. This role will focus on reactivation, loyalty, and account management. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of DraftKings’ industry-leading VIP engagement strategies, understanding the actual needs of our players to foster long-term loyalty to DraftKings. As a Team Lead, you will play a vital role in the growth and development of our VIP userbase and team development.

What you’ll do as a VIP Team Lead

  • Lead and develop a team of VIP Sales Associates, providing coaching, feedback, and ongoing training to elevate performance.
  • Own key VIP sales and engagement metrics, driving customer loyalty, market share, and net revenue growth.
  • Oversee multiple touchpoints in the VIP lifecycle, including reactivation, account management, and loyalty initiatives.
  • Partner with Analytics to track and optimize reinvestment programs, comps, and rewards to ensure player value and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with VIP leadership on the design and rollout of sales training programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage escalations, working across internal teams to deliver timely resolutions and exceptional service.
  • Host regular team meetings and one-on-ones, ensuring alignment, accountability, and professional growth within your team.

What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field with at least 5+ years of related experience in the gaming, hospitality, sales, or marketing industry
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing a sales or account management team.
  • A deep passion for delivering unforgettable customer experiences and building long-term player relationships.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and grow high-performing teams.
  • A track record of implementing strategies that drive revenue growth, improve efficiency, and manage costs.
