As a Customer Order Specialist, you'll provide operational support by ensuring all customer purchases from booking to confirmed delivery date appropriately follow Order Intake policies. This involves verifying order completeness, monitoring status, accurately inputting purchase orders, serving as a liaison between functions, and promptly escalating issues to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to process improvements within Philips Lean culture.
Must Have:
  • Verify order completeness and accuracy per Order Intake Policies.
  • Monitor and communicate order status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Accurately input customer purchase orders into the processing system.
  • Serve as a liaison, resolving issues from order intake to invoice creation.
  • Escalate issues promptly for customer satisfaction and process improvement.
  • High School Diploma, Vocational Education or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics.
  • 2+ years experience with Vocational Education or no prior experience with Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP, SFDC, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Customer-focused professional with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excel at meeting tight deadlines, resolving escalated issues, strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of English language.

Customer Order Specialist

As a Customer Order Specialist, you'll be responsible to provide operational support by ensuring that all customer purchases from booking to Confirmed delivery date appropriately follow Order Intake policies.

Your role:

  • Verify order completeness and accuracy by checking product codes, quantities, and pricing in line with Order Intake Policies.
  • Monitor and communicate the status of orders, from entry to confirmed delivery, to relevant stakeholders.
  • Input customer purchase orders accurately into the processing system for new bookings and change requests.
  • Serve as a liaison between functions throughout the order life cycle, resolving issues from intake to invoice creation.
  • Escalate issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to process improvements within Philips Lean culture.

You're the right fit if:

  • You posses a High School Diploma, Vocational Education or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
  • You have 2+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Order Management, Logistics, Process Improvement, Business Administration or equivalent OR no prior experience with Bachelor's Degree.
  • You are knowledgeable in SAP, SFDC or an equivalent ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
  • You are a customer-focused professional with critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills. You excel at meeting tight deadlines, resolving escalated issues, and are forward-thinking with strong organizational abilities. You can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of English language. May be required to work overtime, based on business &/or departmental needs.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.
